So I got an apprenticeship today and was told on Monday to show up with a manual handling cert which I could get online.

I was told a website but can't find it anywhere, so does anyone have any recommendations?

So did you do the day course for the manual handling cert and lost the cert and after a replacement ?

Didn't know you could do one online, done course last year, trainer to show how to lift etc..., and you take part in exercises, then you are given the cert.

I did a course with olive safety. There was an online course for the written exam but I had to visit their office for the practical.

Would it be on the company's website?

I did one last week for HSE on their site but had to register with employment no. etc.
A couple of modules and about 30 questions to answer. Print cert at end.

I'm looking online now and a lot of them involve doing the theory online and then having a practical at a later date, don't suppose there'd be any on a Saturday in Dublin?

Sorry I don't remember if I got an online cert. The only one I have is the one I got at the end of the practical. Doubt you would get a practical this late on a Saturday.

Wouldn't say so myself I'll do the theory anyway and just explain to my boss I need to wait on the practical. Is there a link for it on the website cant seem to find it?

I just had a quick look through my emails. My boss booked me in and they then sent me a link to do the online section. Looks like you will need to ring them or fill in their booking form to get any joy. I'd say you won't be able to do the online section before Monday...
