1.4 Seat Leon TSI in Ireland

I really want a Seat Leon 1.4 TSI, but I can't find a single one for sale in Ireland, did that particular engine never make it to these shores?

Yeah it did. There's an early reg Leon 125 tsi locally.

I should say, I meant the like 05-13 model of the leon, not the subsequent newer one.

They're not regged as Leon 1.4 tsi.
Theyd be registered like "Seat Leon 1.4 Sport Plus 125bhp" on the book, so you'd see them on carzone described like this.

AFAIK these were a victim of co2 tax in 08 so not so common after July 08

That engine only came out in the Leon in 2008. Should have a TSi badge on wings below the side indicators and they have a six speed gearbox.

That explains the scarcity of them at the price points I was looking at. Might save a little longer for it.

5 ideally, I think I could go to a bank and go up to 6.5. I'm kind of obsessed with the leon. Checked donedeal and the UK sites too for an import.

Yeah, the interior is a let down for sure. I'm in the market for that size of car. I just think the leon is a very nice looking vehicle.
