Just received my latest bill and am just a tad curious as to why my previous bill was €64.82 but the current one is €65.54. Has the metering process started?

    Hi Gadgetman496,

    Thanks for your query.

Bills are determined on a pro-rata basis. This means that your bills amount is based on days in the billing cycle which is why there is an increase in this bill.

If you are metered, you are charged based on your water usage during the billing cycle, which is determined by your meter readings. However, if your usage goes above average consumption, you will be issued a bill for the capped charge and your bill will not exceed this amount.

If your property is assessed, then your bill is determined based on occupancy during the billing period.

You can find more information on charges and your bill here.

I hope you found this information helpful.

    Kind regards,
    Mairead
