I was looking at a transit camper year 2000, The mileage on clock was mad,over six hundred thousand ,The seller said it was a fault caused by putting a wrong bulb in tail light that caused odometer to go wrong. Can he be right

Has he got any previous DOE certs might show the odometer reading to back it up.

Mine goes backwards if you spin the cable with a drill from the gearbox.
