My budget is €2,500. Looking for something economical that hopefully will not give me too much trouble repairs wise. I will do about 20 k per day so am thinking a 1.2 litre if possible.
    Any suggestions appreciated

I've a Yaris which does me fine, I average about 500-600km a week and the 1.0L is well able to cope. Nippy enough too. It has 130,000km on the clock now, I got it at 70k and the only things I've had to change on it the past 60k outside of regular servicing are the clutch and wheel bearing.

    Something like this one maybe?

Thanks for the feedback. Ya iv been looking at yaris's. I could probably get an 06 corsa for the same price as on 03 yaris but think Toyota are more reliable

Yeah it's good on fuel too, I average a little over 46 mpg, granted a lot of my driving is motorway. When I drive in and out of town at rush hour my average is more like 41/42mpg.

I've no experience with a corsa so can't help with that, but I can say having the Yaris has been great for insurance. Fully comp. on an '06 cost me €1000 to renew a couple months ago, not bad considering I'm only 20.

Taking your example there you really do get what you pay for.
