Hi. I am sale agreed on a small house which up to 1930 was the return section of a larger Georgian house the return was sold in 1930 with a leasehold of 150 years, there are now 65 years left. The present owner does not want to buy the freehold before closing for some reason. I believe that because it is a subdivided house the land registry won't deal with buying the freehold and I would have to apply to the county registrar. I would like to know is there any guarantee
That if I go through with the sale that I will be able to buy the freehold later and will it be very expensive..
    Thank you Dave
