Hi All,

Amazon is currently selling Philips HR1857/71 Viva Collection Quick Clean Juicer - Black for 49.99GBP and there is also an additional 10% voucher. The juicer will cost around 63 EUR.

The reviews are great and I think the price is good aswell.

Decent 'beginner' juicer. It's a high speed juicer which gives a good juice, but as its high speed, it heats the juice which causes a loss of most of the important nutrients. As there is a temperature change you can't store this juice for any length of time before it starts to separate and go bad.

If you want to change your lifestyle, I'd look at the hotpoint slow juicer in power city for around €150. I have an omega vrt 350hd which I use daily, it's pricey but I recommend it if you're going all out green!

I also recommend consuming your juice straight away, if you want to store it, look for a slow masticating juicer. They range anywhere from €150 up to the €1000s. Good luck!

Just have a look on YouTube. Plenty of vids. And obviously, make sure you've watched "fat, sick and nearly dead" on Netflix or YouTube

What's the point of juicing if you're not going to get the full benefit of the juice, just because it's easier to clean.

Because of the effort and time of cleaning it there is a good chance you will get fed up of it and park it up with the other high maintenance appliances / not use it as much as you want

Juicing is an effort unfortunately. There's no point in starting if you're already coming up with excuses about 'cleaning,' 'effort' and 'time'

It's tough, but why do it if you're going to lose so much of the juice's nutrients?
