What do you use to keep ticks and fleas off your dogs,
I was using pratic a liquid that you pour between the dogs shoulders, it lasts about 6 weeks,
I was down at the vet yesterday and he gave me a new treatment to try it lasts 3 months,
What do you guys use or do you put anything on your dogs, also how do you remove ticks from your dogs,

frontline spray is excellent or you can get it in a small tube you put on the back of the neck, you buy both from the vet , dump out the beding after a day or two of using it , it breaks the flea cycle so any eggs that hatch in the 3 months will die also.

i use an old remedy,1 part water,1 part white vinegar,sponge it lightly on the dogs once a month,fleas.ticks, cant stand the smell of vinegar,so they keep well away,never had any flea or tick problems.

Get yourself ivemec classic.half a mil will do everything from internal to external parisitse.ask your vet first if you want.do not use on collies 16 euro a 50ml bottle.you get a lot of bang for your buck.

@ Ronn, I have been using the Bravecto for over a year now on my dogs. It does say it lasts for 3 months. In truth 4-5 months is what I have been getting.
Last visit he gave me 1 tablet for a large dog to split between the 2 dogs.

That was late July,still working. ��
