Rent allowance question

I share a 3 bed house with one other person for the last 4 years. The rent in total is 750euro to be raised to 850 in January.
At present I pay 350euro per month. I am due to finish up on CE Scheme on the 13th of this month.i am on invalidity pension and was getting extra payment while on CE scheme so originally I wasn't entitled to rent allowance and payed it myself.
While reading through the application for rent allowance, it says I can only pay 250euro for accommodation which is next to impossible in this day and age.
Will they refuse my application if I come clean and tell them how much I am really paying or should I ask the Landlord could he put 250euro down. I don't like to be deceitful and don't take he might be keen on the idea either. Thanks any help I would appreciate.

If it's above the limits it will likey be tuned down and your not allowed to top up payments either .
Cwo's have some digression to paying a higher rate short term I believe,
Have you tried looking at renting a room or another house share

I really dont want to look around as I have made this my home and love living here, my housemate is also the perfect housemate and has two little doggies which i adore so I would prefer to stay where i am even if it means telling the landlord to put 250euro on the form. I am kinda limited to the people I can share with as I am in recovery for alcohol this past while and my housemate is a none drinker also so it makes life easier for me to stay where I am instead of moving into a new place where alcohol could be flowing freely..thank you for reply
