Just done a quick add up on materials 4 Sheets of MDF ( 5 18' foot lengths 2x2) (10 2x1 8 foot) (5 3x2 8 foot) That's all coming in or around €200. Then you would have painting cost and labor. Their would be around two days work in that job. If i was closer to you i would make that no problem but i am here in mayo. You would need to get the size of the mattress before you get it made. I take it this is for Christmas

    A standard single bed is 3 feet wide and 6 feet 3 inches long (91 x 190).

what would the total cost be ?

I don't imagine you wouldnt have much change out of 1000€ if any by the time it's painted and all. The trick would be to have it made in such a way that it could be disassembled easily while still been sturdy/safe when assembled.
I won't put my self forward as I'm booked up till February.
