I'll start by saying I know very little about the tax laws or anything to do with tax, it will become obvious anyway. So I'm starting a new job soon, I was told that I don't have to start paying tax for this job until the new year, is this correct? Also I was self employed but not anymore. If you havent woked all year you will have a years worth of tax credits to be set against two months tax.
