Lately on newstalk there seems to be some really bad editing showing how much of the stuff is actually prerecorded. some presenter will go to an ad break but the next segment will play out instead for a few seconds before the ads start, then after the break, the next segment will start again.

seems like george hook is never there after 6pm. the slot that is on certain days, like travel on tuesdays, music on thursdays, health on monday is always prerecorded. now, it's not really the fact that it's prerecorded that's annoying, but just the bad editing. sometimes it's cut short in mid sentence and then hook will come back and thank the producers and say he's done.
i've noticed it a few times on tom dunne's show too.

as for the night time repeat, they somehow make a complete balls of it most nights.
