I'll be using it for Linux
    • 1080p screen 13" or larger (preferably 15")
    • 4G RAM
    • Must be x86 based (i.e. intel or AMD)
    • 6+ hour battery life
    • SSD

I'm seriously considering this chromebook though I have two concerns:
    1) The 16G SSD is very, very tight
    2) I'll have to run Linux on it as a chroot instead of a normal install

WIDE open to suggestion though :)

HP Envy 13 or Spectre x360? Much bigger SSD's in them.

Maybe out of your budget though.

Well....initially I was like "Ah I'm not really sure I have a budget" but you're right...whatever my budget is, they're outside it. :)
