definite integral of radical trigonometric function

I'm finding it difficult to solve the integral below. I can't seem to find the correct substitution.
I'd appreciate any input.


integrand of √((17/4)-2cos(u)) over the interval [0,6π]

Have you typed it correctly? This doesn't seem to be solvable analytically. Are you meant to use numerical methods?

See output below - if this could be solved analytically, I'm pretty sure wolframalpha would be able to do it.
