Leon FR170 TDI remap

    Hi, i have a 08 Leon FR550 2.0Tdi 170(pd)

    I am looking to get it remapped, i have been told to go to Joe Power, which i likely will!

    However im wondering about consequences.

    Will the clutch handle 200+bhp and 400nm torque?

    My car is totally clean of smoke so with the remap will it belch black smoke on acceleration?

    If you start driving the car like you stole it then changes are your clutch could wear out quicker. I've had cars remapped and never had any issues with premature wear on parts, enjoyed the extra bit of torque but never abused or pushed the car to it's limits.
