Just got an email through from Chain reaction saying it's my last chance to get a kask infinity road helmet for 99 pounds. rrp usually 219

Good deal says I.

But when i click on it, it's 179 euro... Hmmmm, I didn't think the exchange rate was as bad as that. So I changed the currency to pounds (keeping the country as Ireland) and the price is listed as 123 pounds.

But if I change country to UK, THEN I can buy it for 99 pounds.

That's a bit crap innit?

There are a few UK sites that are not VAT registered in Ireland and it's certainly worth shopping around for helmets if you know what you want.
