ESB allowance

    I am currently building a house. My parents in law will be moving in with us. We will be having a single meter in the house.

    How do I ensure that they can still get the free esb allowance? Do I need to put the bill in join names? for example my name and my father in laws name or what should I do?

    It depends on the age bracket they are in. If they are over 70 it's just a question of having one of their names on the power bill.
    If they're not 70 yet it's more comlicated

    ESB is 1850 372 372 both the named customers have to be free to speak on the phone
