PRSI on foreign salary?

Individual, jointly assessed, spouse has no income except for dividends.

The individual has an irish employment, rental income, dividends and works as an employee for a UK company in the UK a couple of days a week. He meets the criteria for trans-border relief and is claiming same.

According to our taxation software and ROS offline, P.R.S.I. of 4% is due on his UK salary in his 2014 return. I can't find anything online confirming that P.R.S.I. is now payable on foreign salaries, only the usual stuff about unearned income.

Could someone confirm for me that P.R.S.I. is payable, and if possible, link to supporting evidence?
