...hold on a sec, its November!!

When does the Xmas malarky start for you? I think a law should be introduced to allow us to slap anyone across the chops who brings up xmas, sings an xmas song, posts on social media about xmas in Oct and Nov.

To me it shouldn't start till mid Dec. After all there are only 12 days of Christmas which start on the Dec 26th.

Seeing Xmas Rose's tins in early Oct makes me grrrrrrrrrrrr

First weekend in Dec we'll put up te tree and stuff.
Once Dec comes in I don't mind. I know a few cafés and shops that had the decorations up before Halloween.

I'd love if someone stuck Christmas in a sticky at the top of the page where it doesn't annoy the rest of us. :)

    It's just foreplay, relax.

Nobody wants a wham, bham, thank you mam Christmas.

Threads moaning about early Xmas decorations used to start mid November, now they start before Halloween.
Hmm, maybe I should start a thread about this observation.

Christmas is the month of december therefore anything Christmas related should be banned until December 1st!!

The earlier the decorations etc go up the earlier we have to start moaning about them :D

Anyone who doesn't welcome Christmas stuff the earlier the better is a total despicable human.

I already enjoyed Xmas 2015 3 years ago, was a good 'un.

I'm currently putting up Xmas 2018 decorations.

Decorations, Christmas music, trees etc should all be banned until December. By the time December comes around I'm always getting sick of the Christmas stuff. In my parents house my mother won't put up the tree before the second week in December and she's just right.
Shopping for Christmas is OK in November though. That way you can get all the stress of trying to find the right present for those awkward people out of the way and then just enjoy the real Christmas period.

more importantly, what have Cadbury's decided to strip back this year from the tin of Roses?
slowly over the last few years they have been changing this once fine Christmas tradition so it's now like Trigger's Brush....14 new handles and 12 new heads, is it still the same brush?

I'm not religious, but think that the start of advent is the acceptable time to start getting into the whole looking forward to christmas thing

Defenitatly should be a sticky so people can give their opinions about it throughout the year :)

Thankfully the shops are refraining from playing any Christmas jingles or hoisting up any Christmas decorations for a while yet over here.

You'd love it over in the Philippines, they've pretty much renamed December as Christmas.

Id be of the same opinion as yourself, I must admit that the slab of Heineken I got for 26 sheets last night on "Christmas special" is going down a treat,I'm also fully aware its half three in the afternoon, just getting that in there before the usual handful of clowns(we all know who they are) berate me for abiding the law in the privacy of me own home.
