Yes you can get a combo reciever
It can record / watch saorview and free satellite programmes
    I have both an amiko alien 2 and a vu+ duo 2
the amiko is a triple tuner
IE 2 satellite feeds and 1 terrestial ( saorview ) it requires a seperate usb hard drive to record
    Around €120

The vu+ duo2 that I have is also 3 tuners a twin sat tuner + a terrestial tuner
But the hard drive is installed inside the unit and has a lot more processing power
    Hence the €350 price tag

Both receivers can watch sat and record saorview / record 2 sat stations while watching saorview

I am assuming that you are talking about free to view satellite
as some people here will point out the difference
    at great lengths

the free to view sat combo recievers like the AA2 will not retune themselves and require a bit of maintenance IE a rescan of stations every few months
But have 1 remote to view both sat and rte /saorview

where as freesat receivers like the humax range will auto adjust to changes of frequencies
but do not combine freesat and sourview in 1 box with 1 remote
    Hope this helps

Just to add there isn't an official Saorview/Freesat combi PVR. Speculation in the Sunday Times today that something may be in the pipeline but still only speculation - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=97655665#post97655665

At the moment there is 1 official Saorview PVR and lots of Freesat PVRs.

That's not a freesat box, sure it'll give you the channels but the epg will be now and next only and won't give you the full week for the satellite channels.
Also, it's not a pvr, it can't pause, rewind or record tv.
