Hi, ACT10 keypad for electric gate has stopped working. There is power, keypad illuminated, in standby but keypad does not beep as normal and does not activate gate.

There was evidence of earwigs in base of keypad.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

What voltage are you getting at the keypad when it's connected?
Did you power it down and up again?

Hi, I did disconnect power to power down for less than a minute.

Didn't check voltage but could do that although everything illuminated as it should be.

I would be curious what the voltage is and seeing if it drops off when the unit is powered up.
There's a good chance it may be the unit that is faulty.

    Is that DC?
Does it change when you disconnect the power from the keypad?
