    Hi
Does anyone know a good ENT Specialist in Galway (for a child)?
She was referend by GP but I heard you need to wait over a year to see one, so I would would need to find one to see my doughter privately ASAP.

Your GP can do a private referral, too. If they want to - and if there are specialists who are willing to see children. You may need to go to Dublin.

Yes, your GP can refer you privately as well. There may be a long wait for a private appointment too... I was told 6 months for a private (neurology) appointment, by that stage I'd been waiting nearly 2 years for a public appointment with the same consultant. Don't know about ENT though.

I went to GP. Had an appointment for one of my kids with Dr. Lang within 2 weeks (for Tonsils). They were out 2 weeks later.
All done with private health insurance.

    Hi

Does anyone know a good ENT Specialist in Galway (for a tonsillectomy of a 5 years old).

Would look for a private consultant as we have been waiting in the public domain for over 3 years now.

John Lang is still the main guy. Keogh is an alternative.
