Whirlpool Washing Machine AWM6125/3 Drain Problem.

My Whirlpool washing machine AWM6125/3 is stopping during the Drain/Spin, machine still full of water.

0 Led and 100 Led and Start Button Led flashing when it stops.

Pressing the Start Button will get it going, but it will fail again.

When I move it on to the Drain Program, it drains out normally.

I cleaned out the filter, dirty but I don't think dirty enough to stop it.
The next wash worked fine, but the problem came back in the wash after this.

    I found a service manual on www.elektrotanya.com
For this fault it gives the Drain Pump or Pressostat for this fault.

Would I be right in going for the Pressostat because the machine works fine during the Drain Program ?

If there was a coin stuck in a pipe or the pump it should fail during the Drain Program as well as the Drain part of a washing program ?

The machine is 12 years old, but this is only the first fault on it and is working fine besides this.

at the age of the wm it is likely that the pump is sticking under load, ideally set it to drain with no water in it and the filter removed, observe the impellar spinning and stop and start it a few times with the start/pause button, if it is worn it will usually stick after a few goes, you could also check to feel if the impellar seems loose but make sure you have it unplugged, also make sure that the drum is rotating if you set it to spin because there is a good possibility because of if its age that the brushes must be at the end of their days
