I always try to watch the weigh ins before I place my bets.
Get in there before the bookies change their odds - sometimes somebody comes in off weight and you know their training camp hasn't gone according to plan.

This should be interesting, Rios isn't expected to make weight! Just saw it on twitter.

Yep , as usual Rios looks terrible and Bradley looks great.
But Rios knew he was over-weight before stepping onto the scales.
He only has to loose .2 of a pound in an hour , but it eats in to his replenishment time.
Bradley meanwhile is slightly light at 146, he had room for quarter pounder , small fries and a few nuggets.

Bradley to win this in the last quarter by Technical knockout

Yep , you're probably right, but RIos has been in plenty of wars and if fatigue presents itself I think Bradley will go for it.

Bradley can put emphasis on dodging but Rios will come chasing all night.
Eventually Bradley will get stuck in and Atlas usually encourages it

I say technical KO , Bradley wont spark him but a prolonged flurry could see a ref step in.

Man Rios looked so bad. Reminded me of the time he fought John Murray.

I know Bradley is in unreal shape but with Teddys comments he goin to try improve defence. Unless Rios catches Bradley with something and that sets off the slugger trigger in Bradleys head I think Rios might have to use some dirty tactics to get to Bradley.

For anyone that hadn't seen it here's a short doc HBO did on Rios prior to the John Murray fight

I still think Rios can pull off the upset. Hell be huge come fight time and Bradley cannot take a punch like he used to. He was rocked badly by Jessie Vargas who is a very light puncher. That fight with Ruslan really took a lot out of him. If Atlas is true to his word and that Bradley will focus more on defence he should be okay but Bradley is a great man for a brawl. A Rios stoppage wouldn't shock me in the slightest

If Bradely fights smart he boxes the ears of Rios. He gets sucked into a brawl, and he could come up second best. Rios is a tough fooker. Hell of a chin, and keeps on coming. Bradley has not been the same fighter since his close win over Ruslan.

Just in the door as ref gave his instructions!

Great comment by Rios to make weight!

First round one way. Atlas, who trained my old pal Moorer:D shouting at Bradley.

Atlas "No left hooks in front of him"

    "Higher concentration"

    Bradley ahead 2-1 IMO

    Atlas screaming at him:

    "We're firemen"

No shock really and best for Rios it ended this early. Shocking condition he was in.

Roy Jones called it " I've never seen Bradley thrown better combinations"

Two big fights in a row landslides.

    Very good.

Rios retires in an emotional cussing tirade!

Just watching Lomachenko now and have to say I could watch him box all day long.

I really think all-round he's the most skilful boxer I've ever seen.

    What a boxer!

I was just about to post. He has quite possibly more variety and movement than any fighter ever, but he is kind of boring. It's all too predictable. I know, it's kind of an anomaly, but watch 1 action rd from him and that is it. You can expect that all the time.

For me a lot of the stuff he is doing is not needed. You feel like saying to him: Quit the sh1t, and just get on with it.

Like I mentioned on another thread, we need to see elites fighting elites. This sh1t week in week out is brutal.

If Rigo fights Loma, and Rigo can't hurt him, I think Loma swarms him and overwhelms him with skill and workrate.

Fight about to start. Bradley only with Atlas 7 weeks so I can't imagine he'd have a huge amount of influence in changing his style.

Rios unofficial weight is 170 pounds. Thats beyond a joke and potentially dangerous.

In this case the massive weight gain was dangerous for him. Slow and sluggish and picked apart with ease.

Hard to read much into Bradley's performance given that Rios has rarely looked worse. But at least that's how Bradley needs to fight. Recently he had started to abandon any subtlety in his boxing and just wade in slugging. His angles, upper-body movement, and combinations looked more like the 140lb Bradley than anything we've seen for some time. Whether he can still do that against a better fighter than Rios or not remains to be seen.

Some good options for Bradley now too. Brook and Khan are possibles at 147, and there has been some talk of a Canelo fight at JMW. Obviously Bradley has little business above 147 but it would be another great pay-day for him.

I admire Bradley. He is a consummate pro. Always comes in shape and is very competitive.

I like him too. It's a pity those blue collar values don't appeal in America the way they once did. Although maybe it's always been more difficult for a black fighter to sell himself in that way.

He's doing pretty well all the same. He's made a lot of money with Top Rank and ever since he made his wife his manager he's keeping most of the money for himself.

Never understood Bradleys desire to move up to Light Middle. He's not even a welterweight.

It's called passion, heart and balls. Kind of old skool. Wanting to test himself, and having the guts to do it. We need a lot of this to save the sport.

I'd like to see him fight Lara or Canelo at 154 personally. He has nothing more to achieve at WW really. A 3rd fight with Manny won't happen, he's beaten Marquez already, Floyd's gone. There's nobody at 147 that could compare with Manny and Marquez. Maybe drop to 140 to fight Crawford? Can he make 140 any more? He's very passionate and game as f*ck, I'd say give him a chance at 154. If he gets beaten soundly by the likes of Lara, all well and good...Lara's not a guy who could severely hurt him either despite being a big JMW

All of which is most certainly welcome from a fans point of view but against the wrong opponent, he runs a higher risk at getting seriously hurt and I wouldn't like to see that happen.

That's fair enough, but Bradley is quite a versatile and adjustable fighter. He has innate skills that can overcome, to some degree, the possible size difference.
