    My neighbour have these installed above their satellite dish, any ideas what they are used for TV or broadband?

    I doubt anyone could say conclusively what they're for. They look like something that would be used for wireless internet, but there are similar yokes available for terrestrial TV.

    I'd just ask the neighbour if they know, though they could be disused.

    Looks like an outdoor Terrestrial Aerial to me possibly one made my 4ife which I find are a very poor aerial indeed and the fact theres two proves my point...

    It looks like 2 of them be all and end all of super duper Digital HD Saorview Aerials that were flogged to the public during the Saorview "gravy train" switch-over. Like what Steveon said very POOR Aerial.
