Patient bus driver!

Just want to acknowledge the patience of the driver of the 18:30, 69 Rathcoole-Burgh Quay service either yesterday or Wednesday evening. Was heavy traffic from Bluebell (where the bus lane + Naas Road annoyingly merge into one lane!) through to the Inchicore Village end of Tyrconnell Road.

Just as we got to the lights in Inchicore Village, a jeep in front of us stopped to let a passenger out then parked half way onto the path/halfway sticking out on the road, still blocking the lane for us. Bus driver eventually managed to move into next lane to get past him, but we got stuck at the lights again alongside the people jeep.

Bus driver opened the door and told the jeep driver he was blocking the road. Jeep driver then aggressively told him to "F off" repeatedly, gave him the finger, and then for good measure spat on the bus as the driver closed the doors.

My blood was boiling sitting watching this, and if I'd been driving I would have been sorely tempted to pull the little scrote out of his jeep and do god knows what to him. Fair play to the bus driver for showing such restraint, I know I couldn't handle that sort of aggravation and inconsideration day in and day out!
