Dumb question maybe but how can I enable smileys on the Google keyboard when writing emails? The button is there when writing text messages but not anywhere else.

Launch the keyboard and hold down on the greeny-blue botton at the bottom right of the keyboard then slide your finger to the Smiley Face and the emoji will all pop up in all their glory!
