New Shower - Cost and Recommendations

We have an existing shower head over the bath which has very low pressure, it's immersion powered so stuck somewhere in the 1980s and we want to be able to call on higher pressure and hot water on demand.

The budget isn't there to do up the whole room just yet and we're happy enough with the layout and physical configuration, all we want is the above.

Can anyone recommend the best course of action and indicate what sort of money we're looking at - this solution probably only needs to last a couple of years and could potentially be retained in a full new fit-out of the bathroom down the line.

A dedicated shower installation /repair company will charge you around 600 euro to supply & fit a triton t90z pumped electric shower. Most of these companies send out a plumber & an electrician.

There is a new mira elite qt. It's slightly quieter but the quality is totally unproven as it's only on the market a few weeks. Traditionally mira haven't been able to make good electric showers. Also their spare parts are almost twice the cost of triton spare parts so they cost a lot more to repair.
