I would suggest a financial advisor as there are loads of options depending on your circumstances. I take it by your user name you're 52 and this would make a good sum to build up for retirement.

Lots of options. I would suggest the safer options as you are only 15 years from retirement. If you decide on a fund make sure the management fee is small preferably less than .5%. A dividend only fund might be the way to go. If you are earning a salary make sure to maximise your pension contribution to lower your tax especially if you are on the top rate of tax.
