Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Music Production Computer

    Hi really sorry if this is the wrog place to do this but i am just looking for a good computer for music production and have no clue where to start. my budget would be €500 and i would be using pro tools. also if I could get a few games played of Civilization 4 it would be a bonus ;) cheers in advance! :)

    What do you have to work with/build from?

    What do you think you need?

    A little over a year ago I built a PC on a similar budget for music production, but was reusing a HDD, Case, Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Sound Card, Windows 7 License.

    Also something to consider is which version of Protools are you using? You may need to check forums related to it to check out what PC Builds people are doing for them, along with the sound cards they use as well.

    Ok well i might have an old dell in the attic which wouldnt be any use. i think ill be strting from scratch maby get a model from dell or something and upgrade a few parts as i go on?
