Cancun, Mexico - Things to do?

    Myself and the other half are heading to Cancun on Saturday for five nights.

    Does anyone have any recommendations on fun things to do?

    Mayan Ruins in Tolum (2 hours from Cancun) and/or Chizen Itza (3 hours).

    Snorkelling with turtles in Akumal (public beach, you don't need a guide regardless of what some scammers will tell you). Akumal is on the way to Tolum.

    Isla Mujeres (small islands 20 minutes from Punta Cancun) was a lovely place a few years ago. I am not sure what development has done since.

    I don't think Cozumel is worth the trip unless you are into scuba diving.

    Five nights isn't a whole lot of time to relax and do some touring.
