to stop an international transaction

    i set up an international transaction last night, i went into the bank today to lodge the amount,

    i just checked my history and i have transferred the money to the wrong beneficiary,

    i am with ulster-bank, online,

    can i stop this payment

    I don't know if you can stop a customer initiated transaction, the ones done in-branch can definitely be re-called but not sure about ones done online. Your best bet is to ring customer care ASAP because if you are able to do it, you'll need to do it quick.

    no, too late, i had the payment set for that day so after midnight was already too late


    eventually the wrong receiver sent on the payment to the right person :)
