I'm wanting to lay a concrete slab 10×15ft
on a grass lawn for my dog, any advise on this and constructing the run its self on small budget would be much appreciated!!

Depending on the sub-soil, at least 8" of hardcore, shutter the outside with scrap wood and then pour concrete. Ensure a fall to a corner away from the living quarters. Mixing yourself is cheaper but a lot of labour. Calculate the concrete needed.. in your case 5m X 3m X (thickness), to get the cubic measurement.

    Simples!

Seems a lot of effort for a dog run.
Would flagstones not do instead, proper 2'x2' or 2'x3' pavement type flags not the decorative 12" garden centre ones
2" of gravel, layer of blinding, pack it down put the flags on cement pads, cement border to retain gravel, grout the joins with cement.

Good idea. He will need about 600kg of cement plus about 3t of gravel for that dog run @ 100mm deep. May get away with 75mm thickness with good sub base. That will still need about 500 kg of OPC. I hope you have a good back!
