I'm looking to source a front bumper for a 2006 a4 1.9tdi. The man doing the repair is looking in dismantlers and priced the dealer also - new for 375.

He said spurious ones are varying in quality and sometimes dont fit well - priced at around 250.

Could anyone recommend a good online site for oem or very good spurious?
Would it be worth trying dealer in north? though euro/sterling is rotten at the moment
    Thanks

    marzic

€475 painted from a dealer sounds quite cheap.
Audis aren't very forgiving of ill fitting bumpers. They'll stand out like a sore thumb.

Appols, 375 is price of bumper from dealer. 100 for the man spraying whichever bumper is supplied.

Have you seen examples of the guys work. It's very cheap . Especially if that would include prepping a different colour bumper.

You could look on partfinder.ie for an a4 in the same colour breaking. Mightn't be a 100% shade match though.

    Used one on ebay uk.
    item number 221888851974
needs painting but that is a given.

I've got bumper from UK to rural mayo for 35 quid before so should be cost effective.

General rule of thumb, keep away from spurious bumpers, they never fit 100%, there's always a discrepancy somewhere.
