Importing flooring

    Can anyone pm me on any info or contacts to import tiles and timber flooring from. I'm only looking for high quality and high quality will cost me a fortune here in Ireland. Also looking for bathroom suites. Thanks in advance.

    Well fellas, I'm in the middle of my own house build and not much time to send PMs to everyone (there's bound to be more).

    I can't post individual company names but this old boards thread has a lot of useful information and still relative. Some German companies listed throughout the thread. I've orders in with two of them at the moment.

    I got all my bathroom stuff (delivered and currently waiting to be installed!) from reuter-shop.com

    It's a German company and the savings made on hansgrohe and duravit stuff etc was massive (bathroom companies here are tied in to hansgrohe UK which is miles more expensive than hansgrohe international).

    Same went for geberit frames for wall hung toilets etc.

    Really happy with everything. Delivery was on time, incredibly well packaged (think German efficiency) and all present and accounted for. I got 4 pallet loads.

    I've had this self same discussion with a friend who was recently staying with me in London. We went to a very well known tile company with a TOP quality product. He was looking for large format limestone tiles. Overall, he felt the range and quality was much better than at home where he sees either very cheap or very expensive product. He's looking at 4-5k instead of a quote of 9k in Dublin just for the tiles. As the company has a number of branches int he North, he's going to get them from there.

    That sounds really good baby builder, can you let me know how the installation goes. I have picked duravit, Hansgrohe and geberit stuff for my bathrooms also and would love to make some savings :)
