I got over to Birmingham last weekend with my 9yo for the Lego Brick show.
It was a good event and well organised.
Loads of impressive models from AFOLs. Including a huge Titanic and Tardis.
Many big brick pits for just sitting and building. A building Britain (and Ireland) map where kids could build their house and place it on a giant map, a few Guinness book of record building attempts and plenty of stalls selling custom kits.
We were were all wrecked after about 5 hours at the show.
Overall worthwhile. My kid loved it but I am not sure I would go again. Birmingham was much cheaper in terms of flights and accommodation and I am not sure I would be as happy if I went to the London show.
