Five pawns - Acetyl Propionyl

Whats the general opinion on 5 pawns at this stage?

Ordered some from ukecigstore as it was on sale, as I remembered some people giving it good reviews here, then saw the post about it having a high Acetyl Propionyl content - not sure now whether to just bin it when it arrives!

If you can afford to throw out a bottle of 5 pawns fair fks to you!
I'd vape it myself, or at least try it to prove/dispel the myth of how good they are, then pass it on to someone else who's not concerned with all the scandal.

Ive tried 3 of them and wasn't overly gone on any of them. Castle Long was probably the nicest of what I tried (Grandmaster and Gambit being the other 2).

Well it was reduced from 25 to 15, so about normal price now, but the fact it was reduced makes me think it might have come from the "bad" batch mentioned above!

I'll give it a try alright mainly due to all the good reviews and just to see how it tastes!

Also ordered more of this, so that should at least keep me happy!

Well I'll know soon enough - delivery today it seems.

Heard others here say they thought Cosmic Fog Nutz was terrible, but I don't mind it really! I usually mix it with some fruit flavoured liquid, but have tried it on its own and would again whereas some people say it's disgusting!

I gave away 2 bottles of it recently. Its basically under flavoured. It smelt ok from the bottle and initially I thought it wasn't too bad but shortly I found it just far too weak and basically just a crap mixture of strawberry and nut. I could make better myself but I genuinely don't think the flavours go well together to begin with.

If you want to try a proper "high end" US Juice try Breakfast at Teleos The Milk. Still the benchmark imo. I'm getting nearer to replicating it but its a tough one to clone.....

I tried all of the "premium" juices Cigatec had to offer. All the Five Pawns, all the Beard Vape etc. Taste is subjective, and that's never been more apparent to me than on that day because all I could think was "why are people paying this absolutely ludicrous price for this?" I honestly wouldn't pay more than 13.50 for 30ml of the stuff, and I've only plucked that number out of the air because that's what my local charges for Wingnuts which is no better or worse imo. There's lads sub ohming 20ml a day at that ridiculous near 1 euro per 1ml price for that liquid. There are heroin habits cheaper than that! There's no justifying those prices, particularly as nicotine is the most expensive component of an eliquid and 3mg and 6mg are probably the most commonly purchased strengths of those "premium liquids."

Well yes, thats what I was getting at.
I've tried Castle Long - fairly ok, and Gambit - was nice enough originally but aged terribly. Neither was worth half the €27 (plus shipping) from pink mule (I think) a bottle I paid. Ludicrous.
What I was saying was for him to try it and make up his own mind!

I tried Castle Long Reserve at Vapefest last year and honestly you could detect a tiny difference between the two, defo a bit more 'oakey'. And that stuff was what? €40 a bottle or something? Hilarious.

I saw that a while ago and went :rolleyes: x100 !

I think House of Liquid did a special reserve tobacco that was a similar price last year. At least they are industry leaders when it comes to a genuine tobacco flavoured juices. I never heard of anyone who actually tasted it though. Id say it was serious stuff given what I read about the manufacturing process involved.

Well, yes to the first part, but a strong no to the second part.
If they want to sell their (nice but not spectacularly nice) liquids for €100 a ml its their choice, as its the choice of the vaper to buy it or not.
Its a market after all.

See I like Rhubard by ESI, gorgeous juice IMO, and €13 is it for 30ml?
And then I bought two of the Artists collection from nJoy, at I think €25 a 30ml bottle?
Pricey as fk it was, and well I use it sparingly, but on the other hand the two I got are fking stunningly good juices, again, IMO.
Buy what gives you pleasure is the message here.
