    Looking for some advice here!

I have the opportunity to take 40 acres of winter grazing very cheaply (next to nothing). This is silage ground that had cattle on it to end of October. There seems to be good picking on it.

So I have about 40 lambs averaging about 42 kilos.

Would I be better off putting them all out over the winter and selling in spring? Or selling some of the >50Kg lambs now?

Sell anything over 46kg and buy as many 35kg as you can ?

if your going to the factory with them try and get them 50kg to get 22kg dead weight, you might as well get the €101 from 4.55/kg, seen heavy lambs 52kg only make 96 euro last week
