I am a golfer and have pulled a muscle in my shoulder that gives me a small dart of pain on the follow-trough of my swing. After several weeks it is not responding to ointment treatment so think some physio may be needed. I see there is a sports physio in Dun Laoghaire but was wondering if anyone has used or would recommend one in the Dun Laoghaire/Killiney/Loughlinstown area

Chris Carr at the Beacon Clinic treated me after Knee Op. and subsequently with golf induced back pains I found him the best of several physio's I have used over the years.

Thanks. What are Chris Carr's rates ?

PS. as a matter of interest I was having golf induced back pains and my golf pro fixed it straight away. He told me that I was standing too upright, putting strain on my back, that I should bend more from my hip and stretchhhhh for the ball. It felt awkward at first. He also told me to always do some stretching exercises before I hit the first shot... you know the one where you put a club behind your shoulders and rotate your shoulders. It worked a treat for me and I have had no problem since and that's a few years ago. May not be of value to you||

€50 per session was the last one I had maybe a bit more for first one I can't remember exactly it's a fairly standard price I think for physio. You are right a warm up excercise is good for golf related back problems. Best of luck resolving your issue.
