TRP TTV front brake adjustment

Hi. New frame came with one of these on the front with direct mount on the rear. I'm having trouble adjusting them properly. TRP website says both sides should pivot at the same time so both pads contact the wheel rims together. Trouble is that only the far side one from where the cable enters moves and only when the brake…

Hi. New frame came with one of these on the front with direct mount on the rear. I'm having trouble adjusting them properly. TRP website says both sides should pivot at the same time so both pads contact the wheel rims together. Trouble is that only the far side one from where the cable enters moves and only when the brake lever is pulled further does the other side move in to contact the rim. On releasing the brake lever the pad then remains in the same place resting against the rim.

I have tried adjusting the spring tension 2mm allen bolts but they will only loosen and will not tighten for me. Both are approx half way between fully opened and fully closed.

Any help would be great.
