American style fridge freezer - Should I go plumbed or unplumbed?

I will shortly be getting an American style Fridge Freezer. I've not settled on a brand or model yet but I've learned that these fridge-freezers can make use of plumbed or unplumbed water.

The obvious advantage of using plumbed water is not having to fill the water unit on occasion but are there any other advantages?

I'm lucky enough to have a plumbed source near where this appliance will be going so that's not an issue.

Also, any other advice on what brands/models to go for or avoid?
