    Hi guys,

I've lost my job on the 15th of October and applied for JB straightaway, which I was give on the 19th of October.

I'm looking to get a PSA licence and found training company in Dublin.

They require me to go to local FAS/Intreo office to get my placement officer issue and sign "Technical Employment Support Grant - Accreditation of Provider & Training Form"

I was there twice and was told by two different people that I have to wait to be officially invited to a group session and then make an appointment with placement officer, which might take weeks and all I need to do is wait for a letter in the. There's still no sign of a letter, and I really wanna get this training funded so I can find a job quicker, do they really want me to keep claiming JB instead of getting a job?

Is there any way around that?

You dont have to wait for an activation group session appointment you can ask for a walk in appointment.

Well that is incorrect. The do walk in appointments and you will also be seen through the group session. Were you speaking to some one on the employment support team or just reception in the intreo office. Ask for contact details for EST clerical support.
