p21 if not working?

    Hi there,
    I have been a full time student for the past 2 years and was a stay at home parent for 3 years previously.

    I need a p21 for a college application but when I try to order one online it says there is nothing available. I'm thinking this is because I've been unemployed the past 5 years but my college says its essential that they get this.

    Can I receive a P21 if I haven't been working?

    No. You can try and get a letter from your local Revenue office stating that the records show no PAYE income since whatever date.
