Post Novice Marathon - What's next

I have just completed the DCM and my first ever marathon last week (3:35) after returning from knee surgery and being quite a bit overweight.

I had tremendous support from Dubgall72 and all the rest of the gang on the DCM Novices Board - absolutely would not have run so well without their fantastic advice, support and motivation!!

I have been in curry and ice cream heaven since then (inch added to my waist in a week), and need to start thinking about whats next. I know that I need to slowly get back to training so will not rush things - plan is for 3-4 slow jogs this week and possibly into next week, before starting to build a little.

I suppose what worked really well for me over the past 4 months was that I had a program (Asics Sub 4 marathon plan) which i really stuck too and it delivered on the day in Dublin.
I know that I will ramp back up slowly and will try to hit a number of 5 & 10K's over the next couple of months as I would love to get close to 20min for a 5K and 42 mins for 10K.
However, I just noticed today that the registration for Ballycotton 10 is open on Dec 8th. My best ever time on this was 72M about 5-6 years ago. I remember that I had done a chunk of training, however it wasn't entirely scientific and definitely wasn't following a program. I would really love to break 70 minutes for this race.

I have used the race predictor tools to calculate my 10M pace based on my only 2 races this year:
    4M race: 26:40
    DCM: 3:35:40

Its funny because my marathon time says that I should be running the 10M in 76mins whereas my 4M time suggests I should be running it in 70 mins. (the range between 4M and 26M are so significant I am not sure which is the more relevant to use... but am thinking the 4M time is the better predictor?)

Anyway, based on the above, does a 70 min race seem like an achievable target? My ultimate aim would be to use this as a springboard into a DCM plan starting in the summer next year to get into the 3:2X's by next October!!

Are there any downloadable programs that I can use (there are loads for the marathon but not so many for these intermediate races)?
    All advice welcome!!
    Cheers
