Pages slow to load

I have the UPC/VM 120MBps package, 5GHz network. I have a separate wireless router (TPLink Archer).
When running speedtests I get 120MBps both wired and wireless.
However, loading pages is relatively slow, as is streaming videos. This is both wired and wireless.

I use the exact same laptop in work and the same pages load almost instantly and I can stream video without any issues.

Is there anything I can look into to increase the speed? Obviously it's an issue with my broadband not laptop or else I would see the same issues in work.

Is your VM router in bridge mode? If so double check it's not reverted to router mode and some kind of double NAT'ing is going on.

No, it's not in Bridge mode - I didn't think that was possible with VM?

It was (with a little effort) until they decided to screw their customers last week.

Run GRCs DNSBenchmark, that'll make it clear if DNS is part of your problem.
