    I dont mean the tech itself, just taking the initiative. Its an island, so obviously there are limitations.

    I agree with you that these are hugely laudable projects and everyone involved is to be admired. However a community funded effoft like B4RN is highly unlikely to take place here especially now that there is a speculative part government funded network build likely to take place over the next few years.
