    HI
I am moving into a new house and main phone socket - the only one in this house is beside main door and there won't be any access to it and power socket. There is no bb(and never was before) or anything else in this house atm. I read the eir is not moving that any more but do i have to inform them that i want to do it with my electrician?

    Hi loki7777

You're free to move the socket where you want. No notice to eir is required :)Ultimately it's your property and you're free to do what you will. It's a small job for an electrician.

    Cheers
    Al
