Where to get a spare wheel

I bought a car recently and it has come with one of those repair kits instead of a spare wheel.

Where's the best place to get a spare wheel? Do I need to look out for anything in particular? The car currently has 15" alloy wheels with 4 nuts.

You will need to get something with the same stud pattern anyway. Best bet is to get a suitable wheel from a breakers yard and get a new tyre put on it

    It's a 2013 Fiesta.

Then you need a 4 x 108 stud pattern wheel

How did you work that out? :) I don't see anything in the manual about that.

Older model Fiesta probably your best bet in scrapyard.

I think I need a set of wheel nuts too as I think I read not to use nuts for alloy wheels on steel wheels?

Also need a scissor jack and wheel brace too.

Was thinking of this but not sure about buying wheels and tyres on eBay.

Does it have a wheel well for a spare wheel?

Ford wheelbrace is notoriously bad. Get one from a different car that uses the same size nut.
I'd say an old model Fiesta will have all the other bits you need.

Yep, there is a wheel well.

I recently needed a space saver for a civic. The previous owner had a normal wheel in the boot as it didnt fit in the spacesaver hole and it was just taking up space.
Rang scrap yards to no avail so checked out done deal. Ended up being a good few cars on that that were crashed and being sold for scrap and got one from there. Only cost €30 plus another €20 for a courier. I didnt think to get him to put in the locking nut to keep it in place in the boot so make sure you ask for that too.
    Its worth a go anyway.

I'm not sure if a full size wheel will fit in the wheel well, might need to get a space saver one. From what I can see on the Ford website its the space saver they are selling.

Jack up a corner and take off a wheel and check if it fits in the well. If you can properly fit a full wheel then get one. If not then go for a space saver and hope you dont need it on a long spin at night.
Have a look here for the year you have

If it doesnt mention a wheel ring or text. Most people wont think of advertising it as not many people will need one.
