Upgrading from my 2011 AMD CPU

I want to upgrade my CPU from my current setup:

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955

    GPU: GTX 960

    Ram: 8GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3-1333 CL9

    Mobo: ASRock 880G Pro3, Socket AM3+, ATX

    PSU: 550W Super-Flower Amazon 80Plus

I understand I'm going to need a new mobo as my current one is outdated. So for a budget of €300-€350 what is a good mobo+CPU for gaming around that price?

I'm unaware of the current CPU's on the market but from what I understand, Intel is the way to go for gaming right now. I'm not looking for the best CPU, just a good budget one that will last me a few years like my current 955 has.

    I'd go an i5 6500 €200 with a €80 board

    Or you could get a Haswell chip, like an i5 4460 €175, with a cheapish €60 board, or an i5 4690k and a Z97 board for €100

Any of the i5s will last a few years, you'll get longer from the 4690k due to overclocking
