    Hi

Has anyone tried putting in a small extractor fan from room where stove sits to adjacent room. Adjacent room is 5 feet(1.5m) to the side of the stove. I'd put fan up high as heat rises(standard ceiling height)

Is air flow into adjacent room sufficient enough to justify this. Even putting vents for a quiter option?

I don't think I'd bother. The noise of a fan would be a pain. Even possibly noise carrying from one room to the other could be annoying but most of all I just don't think enough heat would transfer through to effect the temp of the second room.

If the stove is not room sealed, then putting a fan in to extract air from that room to another runs the risk of possibly drawing fumes (including carbon monoxide) back through the stove, which would NOT be a good thing to do.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁
